We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across the India market. The role involves acquiring new customers, expanding key accounts, and promoting our end-to-end logistics solutions including air & ocean freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and multimodal transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert leads across Air/Ocean freight and supply chain services.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue & GP targets.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver customized logistics solutions.
- Prepare RFQs/RFPs, pricing proposals, and sales presentations.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis for strategic sales planning.
- Work closely with operations and global teams to ensure smooth execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 412 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of import/export processes, INCOTERMS, customs regulations, air & ocean freight, LCL/FCL, consolidation, and warehousing solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Existing network of shippers, consignees, CHAs, OEMs, or trading companies.
- Already having an existing book of business preferably focused on US and Europe markets is an advantage.
